Hey Boos!!! I love reading the blog The Fashionista Next Door, which is created by Eboni a friend in my head. Every Friday she does a Style Me Friday challenge that I love. Although, I love the looks I never enter, so I decided I would get in on the fun. Last Friday the challenge was Denim on Denim. I know it's late, but who comes to a party early, so I am fashionably late.

I truly felt super sexy and beautiful today in this outfit. I  even wore my lavender tint lipstick from Nicka K and baby that was all she wrote.

Ms. PHAT!!!

Hey Boos!!! This is an old post that I didn't get a chance to post due to lack of pictures, but I wanted to get this post to you guys, so here you go. Recently I went to an Ashley Stewart in Store Fashion Show for their showing of their spring and summer collection, and they had some great pieces that I loved.

 

The models for the event were provided by I'm Possible Curves Entertainment located in Charlotte, NC (sorry I don't have any pictures.)  The founders of  I'm Possible Curves Entertainment are Ena Bowens and Marlena Evans, both are past Beauty Queen winners, and there message of empowering plus size women is message that I can get behind. I liked the ladies and there message, so it is easy to  support what they are doing. Plus Marlena had on a pair of earrings that was to die for and believe me I wanted to steal them, but I gave stealing up for Lent...lol!!!

The ladies have an upcoming beauty pageant on July 21, 2013. The Miss Curvy 2013 Beauty Pageant. If you get a chance check them out on Facebook, and buy a ticket to support. Who knows, maybe next year you can be a contestant and become a beauty queen winner too. If you win remember me when you get to the top. Casualtie of Shoes!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today is my last post for camo week and I made it, but I thought I was going to go AWOL. Friday is my off day, so I didn't get dressed for work. I was in mommy mode and that didn't consist of anything camo. I wanted to make sure I went through with the complete week, so I got up today and did the darn thing.  I wanted to showcase some shoes I purchased two years ago and never wore, but baby when I tell you the shoes were murder on my feet I almost didn't make it. Can you say God bless all the people that wear shoes to small for their feet..lol!!! I didn't take a lot of pictures, because I had to go soak my feet, but I am sure we have all been there.

War at Work!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today I felt like I was going to war at work. Recently my uncle passed and I went to his funeral in NY. I had three days of bearevement, and was told to bring a letter back from the funeral home. I returned to work this week with my letter and my job is now playing with my money, because I haven't gotten paid for my bearevement days. I felt like going to the HR office and pulling a Biggie Smalls  (Kick in the door, wavin' the four-four. All you heard was Poppa don't hit me no more...lol!) I didn't pull a Biggie, but if they don't have my money by Monday I might be pulling a Cleo from Set it Off. I am just joking, but I am serious about my money. All in all I was upset about  my money, but I pulled off my camo outfit of the day. This look has definitely been mine and others favorite look.

Armed with Accessories!!!

Hey Boos!!! We are officially in day 3 of camo week and I am super proud of myself for sticking to my commitment of posting all week. Today I loved my accessories, and not often do I show them off, but today I had to do at least one shot of them. I got a lot of compliments at work today, which made me feel like my ensemble...lol was great.

Serving Fierce!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today is day 2 of camo week, and I was feeling fierce today in my camo. The best part of my day ( my hubby) told me I was giving him an old school vibe. He said I was channeling the show  "Different World" and that made me smile, so  hopefully this outfit will bring a smile to your face.

I'm so Fatigued!!!!

Hey Boos!!! I have recently been going through my closet and I realized I have so many camouflage/ fatigue pieces. I decided to do a whole week of wearing camo. If you want to join the armed forces of camo wearers and show me your looks, you can use Instagram under the hash tag #tocamo. Next week I will try and do the trend black and white. Sorry that the pictures aren't the best, but soon come (that is how my brother in law says it) I will have a camera and will be off my phone.
