Casualtie of Shoes!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today is my last post for camo week and I made it, but I thought I was going to go AWOL. Friday is my off day, so I didn't get dressed for work. I was in mommy mode and that didn't consist of anything camo. I wanted to make sure I went through with the complete week, so I got up today and did the darn thing.  I wanted to showcase some shoes I purchased two years ago and never wore, but baby when I tell you the shoes were murder on my feet I almost didn't make it. Can you say God bless all the people that wear shoes to small for their feet..lol!!! I didn't take a lot of pictures, because I had to go soak my feet, but I am sure we have all been there.

War at Work!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today I felt like I was going to war at work. Recently my uncle passed and I went to his funeral in NY. I had three days of bearevement, and was told to bring a letter back from the funeral home. I returned to work this week with my letter and my job is now playing with my money, because I haven't gotten paid for my bearevement days. I felt like going to the HR office and pulling a Biggie Smalls  (Kick in the door, wavin' the four-four. All you heard was Poppa don't hit me no more...lol!) I didn't pull a Biggie, but if they don't have my money by Monday I might be pulling a Cleo from Set it Off. I am just joking, but I am serious about my money. All in all I was upset about  my money, but I pulled off my camo outfit of the day. This look has definitely been mine and others favorite look.

Armed with Accessories!!!

Hey Boos!!! We are officially in day 3 of camo week and I am super proud of myself for sticking to my commitment of posting all week. Today I loved my accessories, and not often do I show them off, but today I had to do at least one shot of them. I got a lot of compliments at work today, which made me feel like my ensemble...lol was great.

Serving Fierce!!!

Hey Boos!!! Today is day 2 of camo week, and I was feeling fierce today in my camo. The best part of my day ( my hubby) told me I was giving him an old school vibe. He said I was channeling the show  "Different World" and that made me smile, so  hopefully this outfit will bring a smile to your face.

Country has gone Sexy!!!

Hey Boos!!! Let me get right to the business at hand. I have been lusting after these cowboy boots from Target. I tried to wait for them to go on clearance, because I am not Rich Broke like Lil Duval, but I am Broke Broke and clearance is my middle name. Target obviously doesn't care about my coins, because the boots are still full price.

 

 

I decided to stop being El cheapo and get the boots, because I have spent more than 34.99  for things I just liked and didn't love. I am so glad I got the boots, because they are now one of my new favorite things. I had to wear them to work everyday this week since I got them, because I told one of the members of the 3 musketeers  that I would wear them everyday if I bought them, so I have been a woman of my word. SN: Something is always my favorite until I get it and then I find a new favorite, but these boots are truly my new favorite thing, and I want to wear them with everything. Thanks Target.

Baby I'ma be your Motivation!!!

It's Monday time to make the donuts, so git up git out and git somethin. The somethin I got this morning was a burst of cold air. Fall has made its presence known in the Queen City and I wanted to ignore it and stay in my bed.

I am glad I ignored the feeling of staying home, because if I missed work I would have missed the surprise waiting for me. Steve at my job who is a healthy eater, was wearing a great camouflage jacket. SN: One day I would like to be like Steve, but I am enjoying cake, chips, and Pepsi to much for today to be that day. I told Steve how great he looked in his jacket, and he told me it was me who inspired the jacket. I have my own camouflage jacket that I wear a lot, because camo is the new black to me.

 

 

 

 

If you know me you know that I am extra vain and I got a big ego (in my Beyonce voice.) However, this wasn't a moment when my head swelled up and popped. It made me feel good that someone would like at me and be inspired. There was a time I didn't have the confidence I have now, and instead of inspiring someone else I could only be inspired.
